For Existing Clients:
If you are already in contact with the service and need help during working hours (0900 – 1715) please contact your care coordinator. Out of hours you can reach the Helpline by calling 01438 84 33 22.
For New Clients:
If you are not already in contact with mental health services services and you, a friend or relative are experiencing mental health problems for the first time and need emergency treatment, you can contact the Single Point of Access as follows:
Phone: 0300 777 0707 between 08:00 and 19:00 hours or 01438 84 33 22 between 17:00 and 08:00 hours
In order to be referred you would need to be referred by one of the doctors. They will ask some questions about your mental health and agree a way forward with you. For some things we can refer you to our practice counsellor and you can be seen at the practice for 45 minute counselling sessions which are usually offered once an initial assessment has taken place.
If you have a mild to moderate mental health problem you can self refer, or ask your GP to refer you, to our wellbeing service. The referral form can be found on the HPFT website or click on the link here
