Telephone Appointments

If you cannot attend the practice for an appointment you may request a telephone appointment where the doctor can call you back at a later time in the day and speak to you about your illness or condition. Requests for telephone appointments for repeat medication are a waste of time and will not be given.

When you request a telephone appointment you will be asked the reason for needing a telephone appointment, if a reason is not given you will not be given a telephone appointment. One of our GP's will telephone you later in the day during a break in their clinic. We cannot guarantee the time of call back therefore if your need is urgent it is best that you come into the practice to be seen.

Please ensure you provide a contact number that the doctor can contact you on. If the doctor cannot contact you they will leave a message but will not try to telephone you again. It will be up to you to telephone the practice to speak to the doctor.
